We’re looking for an experienced, hands on Operations Manager to join our management team and oversee the day to day operation of our busy, multi-space venue.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational standards, developing our management team and ensuring an exceptional guest experience across the venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the venue

  • Delivering high quality service and memorable guest experiences

  • Managing busy trade periods, including Friday and Saturday nights

  • Lead, support and develop Duty Managers and Front of House teams

  • Drive high standards across service, presentation, facilities and guest experience

  • Manage busy trade periods and ensure smooth venue operations

  • Maintain compliance with liquor, gaming, WHS and venue procedures

  • Manage rostering, labour and operational costs

  • Completing daily cash

  • Oversee cash management, gaming reconciliation and daily reporting

  • Work closely with Food & Beverage, Gaming, Functions, and Maintenance

  • Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions

  • Support recruitment, training, performance and development of the team

  • Work with the General Manager to continually improve venue performance, standards and profitability

About You

You will have:

  • Strong experience in a senior hospitality management role within a large, high-volume venue

  • Proven experience leading and developing managers and large teams

  • Strong operational and commercial understanding

  • Excellent knowledge of liquor and gaming legislation

  • A hands on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

  • A passion for hospitality and exceeding guest expectations

  • Current RSA and RCG certifications

  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, late nights and public holidays
