An exciting opportunity is now available for a Maintenance and Building Manager to join the team at Oaks Redcliffe Mon Komo Suites.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance of Oaks Redcliffe Mon Komo Suites and its associated mixed-use property.
Working with external contractors and the hotel team, you will help ensure the building remains safe, well-maintained and operating efficiently while supporting guests, residents and owners.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support the property's day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Coordinate and work with external contractors.
• Deliver planned and preventative maintenance activities across the property.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining compliance, safety and essential services records.
• Contribute to maintenance planning, forecasting and asset improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance priorities.
• Support refurbishment, repair and improvement projects as required.
• Liaise with hotel management, guests, residents, owners and contractors on maintenance matters.
• Participate in Body Corporate meetings with the General Manager when required.
About You
You are a practical and proactive maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, leading by example and keeping facilities operating at their best. You are solution focussed, communicate effectively with others and able to organise and manage priorities.
You will ideally bring:
• A trade qualification or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Experience within hotels, residential, and/or commercial property environments.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and building maintenance requirements.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A hands-on, proactive approach to work.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.
Highly regarded but not essential:
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• First Aid certification.
• Fire safety, pool plant or other building services experience.
